Maserati has chosen an unconventional path to electrification. While most manufacturers start with an SUV, Maserati’s first electric vehicle is the GranTurismo Folgore \u2014 a grand tourer that maintains the elegance and character of its gasoline-powered counterpart.<\/p>\n
Three electric motors \u2014 one front, two rear \u2014 produce a combined 751 horsepower and 996 lb-ft of torque. The 92.5 kWh battery is arranged in a T-shape along the central tunnel to maintain the low seating position essential to the GT character.<\/p>\n
The Folgore retains the classic Maserati long-hood proportions, with the battery placement enabling a lower center of gravity than the V6 variant. The interior features sustainable materials including Econyl regenerated nylon, made from recycled fishing nets.<\/p>\n
